We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Construction Site QS / Procurement Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on QS / Procurement Officer to join our construction team and work directly on our active building projects in Lagos. Are you a Quantity Surveyor with strong procurement experiencewho understands that construction is not just about numbers on a spreadsheet, but about getting the right materials, at the right price, at the right time? Key Responsibilities: Track procurement costs and maintain accurate procurement records Conduct site measurements and assist with valuation of completed works where required Review subcontractor quotations and assist with commercial evaluations Raise and process purchase requests/orders in line with approved requirements: Ensure materials are procured and delivered on time to prevent delays on site Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Storekeepers and Accounts Verify quantities, specifications and quality of materials before purchase/delivery Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, prices and procurement activities Identify and report cost variations, wastage and procurement discrepancies Monitor material prices and identify cost-saving opportunities Monitor material usage against approved quantities and budgets Prepare and review BOQs, material schedules and cost estimates Requirements: Highly organised and able to manage multiple procurement requirements: Honest and accountable when dealing with company funds, suppliers and materials Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant construction / commercial tools A Quantity Surveyor with practical procurement experience: Detail-oriented and able to spot quantity, pricing and specification discrepancies Comfortable communicating with contractors, suppliers and site teams Proactive, resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision Commercially minded and strong with numbers Comfortable working on an active construction site How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV and and Applications to: hr@prestigioushomeslimited.com using "QS / Procurement Officer" as the subject of the mail.
