The role ensures that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil engineering projects from design through completion. Key Responsibilities: Identify and resolve technical issues and construction challenges. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. Ensure proper testing, inspection, and documentation of completed works. Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction activities in line with project schedules. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project teams. Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents. Support project handover, snagging, and close-out activities. Liaise with the project manager and other stakeholders on project progress and technical matters. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE requirements. Assist with quantity verification, cost control, variations, and measurement of completed works. Prepare and review method statements, work plans, progress reports, and technical documentation. Monitor project progress, materials, manpower, and equipment requirements. Requirements: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and site practices. 7–10 years of relevant experience: in civil construction/project engineering. Professional certification/membership with **COREN** or other relevant engineering bodies is an advantage. Proficiency in **AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant project management software.
