He/She is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing funding partnerships to support the successful execution of the Nigerian Red Cross programs. Under the supervision of the Managing Director , NRCS Social Enterprise, the Senior Fund-raising officer will coordinate the fund-raising and grant-seeking activities, manage the day-to-day operations and ensure efficient management of its resources, plan, develop and implement the financial activities in accordance to the individual program budgets and ensure wholesome and effective Program documentation. Job Roles and Responsibility Writing grant proposals: The senior fundraising officer writes grant proposals and secures funding from local and international donors to support the organization\'s programs and services. Cultivating relationships with donors: The senior fund-raising officer cultivates and maintains relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring that they feel appreciated and valued for their contributions. Preparing fund-raising materials: The senior fund-raising officer creates and prepares fund-raising materials such as brochures, annual reports, and other communication pieces that will help attract and retain donors. Conducting prospect research: The senior fund-raising officer conducts research to identify new potential donors, sponsors, and funding sources to support the organization\'s programs and services. Organizing events: The senior fund-raising officer organizes and develops fund-raising events to raise awareness and attract new donors to support the organization. Working with the fund-raising team: The senior fund-raising officer works with the fund-raising team, including other fund-raising officers and support staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the fund-raising department and the organization\'s overall resource mobilization strategy.
