We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Contracts Lead III Location: Lagos Employment Type: Contract Main Functions Oversee service contract performance and administration, support timely purchase order placement, track progress, ensure accurate and timely payments, advise on contract risks, and support gap closure and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure contractors comply with contract terms, conditions, corporate controls, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Engage in the contract life cycle and oversee the entire contract portfolio for each business line/function. Assist Contract Owners in performing contract suspensions and/or terminations. Steward contractor interface activities throughout the contract life cycle. Assist in coordinating the Level 5 Annual Contractor Safety Forum. Participate in contract handover between Procurement and the Business Line. Liaise with the SSH&E Team to schedule Level 4 SSHE Sharing Meetings. Coordinate and facilitate Level 2 and Level 3 quarterly and annual performance review/feedback meetings. Initiate and ensure complete contract execution and close-out with contractors. Act as a liaison and coordinator among Procurement, SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health & Environment), and Operations within the business line. Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection processes. Organize and coordinate Contractor Performance Assessments (Reporting Quarterly interface, A&D compliance, Contractor compliance checks, and Annual Performance Scorecards). Handle monthly KPI reporting (e.g., Contract Stewardship, Man-hour reporting). Initiate and facilitate contract kick-off meetings with contractors. Participate in service planning and develop contract strategies. Report contractor performance to the OI 8-1 System Owner and Administrator. Coordinate and conduct Contractor Site Assessments. Coordinate the review of contractor crew competency. Establish and maintain the Active Contractor Tracking Database. Communicate with contractors to develop a joint Interface Management Plan. Connect with other business lines to share best practices. Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place. Skills & Qualifications Experience: Experience: engaging with contractors in a developing country environment. Experience: working with developing businesses and Landowner Companies (LANCOs). Experience: and confidence working in field or industrial environments, including remote locations. Experience: with contract administration, preferably within service-contractor environments. Experience: within a large corporation or complex organizational setting. Technical & Process Knowledge: Understanding of Procurement roles, responsibilities, and business processes as they relate to contracts. Highest standard of Safety, Health, and Environment (SSH&E) aptitude and ability to cultivate the same in others. Knowledge of contract terms and conditions. Excellent computing skills. Soft Skills & Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal, motivational, planning, execution, organizational, and administrative skills. High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
