The role ensures complete visibility of vehicles in transit, proactively identifies delays, route deviations, security risks, and operational issues, and coordinates timely interventions. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Real-Time Monitoring Monitor all trucks in transit using GPS tracking systems/fleet management platforms. Track truck locations, movement, speed, and estimated time of arrival (ETA). Monitor truck seals and delivery milestones where applicable. Ensure every dispatched truck remains visible until delivery is completed. Transit Coordination: Maintain continuous communication with drivers and transport providers. Update warehouses, customer service, and sales teams on delivery progress. Escalate delays, breakdowns, accidents, security threats, or unauthorized stops. Support route optimization and recovery plans where required. Incident Management: Immediately report truck diversion, hijacking, theft, accidents, or prolonged delays. Maintain incident logs and follow up until issues are resolved. Coordinate with Security, Truck providers, Logistics operations team Compliance: Ensure adherence to approved routes and journey management procedures. Monitor transporter compliance with company transportation standards. Coordinate pre-trip inspection for every truck before assigning shipment Ensure GIT insurance for all transporters is valid, and value per carriage meets the minimum standard. Verify adherence to safety and security protocols. Reporting: Produce daily truck movement and delivery status reports. Document route deviations, detention time, and delivery exceptions. Maintain accurate records of communications and transit activities. Daily pan-Nigeria depot operations report Daily Key Performance Indicator Report (KPI) Requirements: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. 2–4years' experience in logistics, fleet monitoring, or transportation operations. Knowledge of GPS and fleet management systems. Excellent communication. Strong analytical (Excel) and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Truck visibility rate. On-Time& In-Full(OTIF). ETA accuracy. Incident response time. Route deviation resolution time. Delivery status update timeliness per sales area. Daily reporting accuracy.
