We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Hotel Internal Auditor Location: Ikeja, Lagos Key Roles & Responsibilities: Detect and report financial irregularities, fraud, or discrepancies. Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and management when necessary. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Monitor daily sales, revenue, cash collections, POS transactions, and bank deposits. Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts. Maintain accurate records of all hotel income and expenses. Reconcile cash, bank accounts, POS, and other payment channels. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls. Monitor stock, purchases, and inventory costs. Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and accounting requirements. Process payroll and ensure accurate salary calculations. Control hotel expenses and identify areas of unnecessary spending. Qualifications Required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is an added advantage. Good communication and organizational skills. 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines. Experience: with hotel / POS systems is an advantage. B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
