₦1 per hour Job Type: Full-time Working experience: from 5 to 10 years Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree/HND in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related Technical/Science discipline.Minimum of 5–6 years’ relevant experience: in Quality Assurance, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.Strong practical technical experience: in food processing and quality assurance.Basic training/certification in quality-related fields, particularly HACCP.Good knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems, including ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000.Knowledge of relevant Nigerian regulatory and quality requirements, including NAFDAC, NIS, HACCP, and ISO standards. Experience: in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems and SOPs.Strong understanding of quality documentation, records management, and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure daily quality standards are consistently met across production.Assist in planning and implementing training programmes for the QA team, Production team, and other relevant personnel.Support regulatory affairs functions and ensure compliance with relevant Nigerian requirements: and accreditations, including NAFDAC, NIS, HACCP, ISO, and FSSC 22000.Ensure company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meet applicable Nigerian Industrial Standards.Ensure documentation and records are maintained in accordance with ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System requirements.Monitor quality, production outputs, efficiencies, and wastage to ensure daily targets are achieved.Promote and maintain a strong Customer-is-King quality culture across the organisation.Actively promote a strong Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) culture in the workplace.Ensure quality-related costs are managed within approved budget and target levels.Support the recruitment, selection, and replacement of QA personnel when required.Assist with New Product Development (NPD) activities as required.Develop QA plans and contribute to annual strategic planning and budgeting.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide creative and practical solutions to workplace challenges.Lead, train, and develop QA personnel while promoting teamwork across QA, Production, and the wider organisation.
