Through research, policy advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to prevent and challenge SGBV. We believe prevention is possible and every person, regardless of gender, has an important role to play in preventing and ending Sexual and Gender based Violence. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance and Compliance Officer Location: Abuja Work Mode: Hybrid About the Role The Finance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial management We're seeking a detail-oriented skilled Finance and compliance Officer to join our finance department in managing the financial operations of our non-profit organization. Key Responsibilities: Preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses. ✓ Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data entry and reporting. Compliance and Grants Management, ensure compliance with funding requirements: and regulations. Payables and Transactions Processing Oversee the Timely financial reporting to management and stakeholders within stipulated time and managing donor fund through effective budget compliance. Assist in managing grants and tracking grant expenditures. ✓ Provide financial advisory support to the management Required Qualifications Education: ICAN Certification Desirable Candidate must be based in Abuja, Nigeria Bachelor's Degree (minimum of second-class lower) in Accounting Economics, or any other finance related field. Experience: and Skill: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and Organizational skills. Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g, QuickBooks, Excel) and Microsoft office tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-pased multicultural environment. Experience: in gender rights or social impact campaigns is highly desirable. Must have 2 to 5 years of experience: in Finance, preferably in an NGO, donor agency, or international organization.
