Accuracy Verification: Check figures, postings, and financial documents for mathematical correctness and proper recording from various service points. Review payroll records for accuracy and compliance. Conduct routine audits of financial transactions including cash handling, bank deposits, and revenue reports. Regulatory Alignment: Evaluate financial documents for compliance with federal regulations and ensure all activities align with hotel policies and industry standards. Expenditure Review: Examine both recurring and non-recurring expenditures and the systems used for financial control. Audit accounts payable and receivable transactions. Integrity Assurance: Maintain a policy of zero tolerance for unreviewed transactions and active identification of income leakages. Ensure proper reconciliation of bank statements, petty cash, and revenue accounts. Core Record Auditing: Conduct daily and comprehensive audits of sales, stocks, inventories, and accounting records across all hotel departments and outlets.
