We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: GM – Supply Chain and Business Development Overall Purpose of the Job To ensure the purchase of the right items at the right price, from the right source, and delivered in the right quality, right quantity, and on time to clients. Responsibilities: Provide guide and support on all Major Tenders and Service Contracts. Oversee the validation of goods and documents. Establish and manage a data base of approved efficient trucking companies. Ensure the development of team members. Control inventory. Oversee the timely clearing of goods at the Nigerian Ports. Develop and execute the company’s supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives. Coordinate Supply Chain Meeting Drive Line Pipes and OCTG sourcing and management team (LOSOM) Ensure the training and development of staff in the department to close up identified process gaps. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team. Putting in place Supply Chain strategies to improve the company’s competitive edge. processes. Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers. Ensure timely appraisal of the performance of and giving feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with company policies, NCDMB requirements, procurement regulations, and corporate governance standards. Maintain high degree of confidentiality and safety of documents. Achieve and exceed agreed RFQs conversion to P.Os. Manage all Supply Chain Projects. Oversee procurement market research. Establish and manage a data base of approved efficient Customs clearing agents. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules and customer commitments. Manage trucking logistics. Lead procurement activities from sourcing and RFQ issuance through bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase order placement, and contract administration. Ensure goods are delivered on time within agreed price and fit for the customer’s purpose. Negotiate commercial terms to improve cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. Ensure the realization of the company’s strategic focus from a supply chain perspective. Effectively manage all staff in the Supply Chain Department. Develop and manage relationship with suppliers, locally and internationally. Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations to support tenders and project execution. Provide feedback to potential suppliers on previously received quotations. Effective and cooperative relationship with relevant government regulatory agencies. Manage international sourcing, importation, customs clearance, shipping, and local logistics. Process POs to agreed scope. Maintain comprehensive filing system. Establish supplier performance measurement and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure ISO Compliance of Supply Chain quality Maintain sound relationship with relevant regulatory agencies. Oversee the implementation of the Supply Chain Process to meet company’s objectives. Effective coordination of all Supply Chain activities. Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Development of other sources of supply as alternatives or to meet emerging or planned needs. Development of such technical skills to query the Nigerian Customs Claims Ensure continuity of supply by maintaining effective relationships with existing sources (both local & International). Work within established Supply Chain Procedures for requisition, processing, validation, delivery and invoicing. Build and maintain an effective database for tracking OEMs, Pipes and OCTG mills, OEM accredited distributors, stockists and Equipment suppliers. Ensure timely issuance of job descriptions and job objectives to team members. Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. Expedite orders. Ensure continuous Supply Chain Improvement. Requirements: Excellent MS Excel /Spread sheet skills. At least 5 years in a leadership position within the upstream oilfield services. Excellent international sourcing skill. Purchase order management skill. Experience: supporting major EPC, IOC, or oilfield service projects. Trucking logistics management skill. Professional Certifications such as CIPs, CPSM, APICS/ASCM, or equivalent is desirable. Project management skill. Demonstrated experience: managing international procurement and complex logistics. Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage Excellent RFQ processing skill. Passion to deliver Proficient in the use of Nigerian Customs tariff. A candidate with at least 10 years’ continuous experience: in supply chain or procurement. Good documentation skills. Excellent knowledge of the delivery requirements: of the E& P Companies. Long-range procurement planning capability. Excellent on-line bidding skill. Excellent negotiation skill. Goods/documents validation skill Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Inventory/stock management skill. Analytical skills to define and solve problems. Excellent knowledge of clearing procedures at Nigerian ports; familiarization with the 5- stage clearing process, proper computation and validation of custom duties on all imported items.
