We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Logistics Officer Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a competent and resourceful Logistics Officer to support our Logistics, Mobilization & Materials Coordinator in ensuring the efficient coordination of personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, and logistics activities across our operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant regulatory standards. Prepare periodic logistics and materials reports for management. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate replenishment where necessary. Provide administrative and operational support to the Logistics, Mobilization & Materials Coordinator. Support the planning and tracking of project materials, tools, and equipment to ensure timely availability. Plan and coordinate journey management activities, including journey planning, vehicle allocation, driver scheduling, route assessments, journey approvals, and journey tracking to ensure safe and efficient movement of personnel. Monitor logistics schedules and proactively resolve issues that may affect project delivery. Coordinate the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel, equipment, and materials for projects and training programmes. Liaise with clients, vendors, freight forwarders, transport providers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate seamless logistics operations. Maintain accurate records of mobilisation activities, logistics documentation, inventory movements, and material issuance. Qualifications & Experience: Strong knowledge of logistics coordination, fleet operations, ana journey management principles. Ability toa manage multiple priorities. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience: in logistics, operations, supply chain, fleet coordination, or materials management.
