Read more about this company Head Nurse Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 15 years Location Lagos City Ajah Job Field Role Description We are looking for a motivated leader who can serve in the role of a Head Nurse with proven rehabilitative experience. The Head Nurse is a senior nursing professional responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the efficient operation of the Nursing department. The Head Nurse plays a crucial role in maintaining high-quality patient care, managing resources, and promoting a positive work environment. Responsibilities: Leadership and management: Provide leadership to the nursing team, including Matron, Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses (RNs), and Nursing Assistants. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (physicians, administrators, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists etc.) to ensure seamless patient care. Staff supervision: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff. Assign duties and responsibilities: to nurses based on their skills and qualifications. Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues. Patient care: Monitor patient care activities to ensure adherence to standards and protocols. Assist with complex patient cases and provide guidance to nursing staff. Ensure patient safety and comfort. Resource Management: Manage staffing levels, schedules, and shift assignments.
