The successful candidate will support the Social Media Manager by editing videos, publishing approved content, and managing the company's social media presence across all platforms Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Internship & Graduate Experience Length: No Experience/Less than 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - Morning Shift Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities Social Media Management: Schedule and publish approved content provided by the Social Media Manager across the company's six social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube Ensure posts are published according to the approved content calendar. Monitor comments, direct messages, and mentions, responding where appropriate or escalating inquiries to the Social Media Manager. Engage with followers to increase audience interaction and brand visibility. Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activities to identify engagement opportunities. Video Editing: Edit high-quality videos for reels, shorts, promotional videos, training highlights, event coverage, and other marketing campaigns. Add captions, transitions, animations, branding, music, and visual effects where necessary. Optimize video content for each social media platform. Ensure all edited videos meet the company's branding and quality standards. Digital Marketing Support: Assist with uploading approved marketing materials across all social media platforms. Support the promotion of the company's GIS training, drone training, drone services, Geo Store products, webinars, and corporate events. Assist with live event coverage by capturing and editing video content where required. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor the performance of all six social media platforms. Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports. Track key performance indicators, including: Reach, Engagement, Impressions, Video views, Follower growth, Click-through rates, Leads generated Recommend improvements based on analytics and performance insights. Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain and update the social media content calendar. Organize and manage digital assets, including videos, graphics, and marketing materials. Participate in departmental meetings, brainstorming sessions, and Knowledge Sharing Sessions (KSS). Ensure confidentiality of company information and marketing strategies. General Responsibilities: Meet assigned deadlines and maintain high-quality work standards. Demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Social Media Manager or Management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, English, Computer Science, or a related field. Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member Must be willing to complete the entire NYSC service year at Geoinfotech Resources Limited. Must be highly proficient in video editing using software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Must have practical experience managing and publishing content across all six social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube. Good understanding of social media management, digital marketing, and platform best practices. Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is an added advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Timely and accurate publishing of approved content across all six social media platforms. Quality and turnaround time of video editing. Growth in audience engagement and social media performance. Timely submission of weekly and monthly reports. Adherence to the content calendar and assigned deadlines. Professional management of social media accounts and online community engagement.
