We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Event Manager Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving bookings across our event spaces, including the rooftop, cinema, pool, and other spaces, while ensuring that every event is professionally managed and delivered to a high standard from start to finish. We are seeking a highly organized, creative, commercially driven, and experienced Event Manager to oversee the planning, sales, coordination, and execution of events at Casalavoro Residence. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full event lifecycle, from initial client inquiry and venue booking to planning, execution, and post-event follow-up. Generate new business through direct outreach, networking, referrals, social media, partnerships, and other business development channels. Respond to inquiries, conduct venue tours, understand client requirements, prepare proposals and quotations, and convert leads into confirmed bookings. Gather client feedback, evaluate event performance, and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and increase repeat business. Source and secure clients for Casalavoro’s event spaces, including birthdays, brunches, private parties, corporate events, celebrations, pool events, screenings, and other social gatherings. Take charge of event-day operations, ensuring proper setup, guest management, staff coordination, entertainment, catering, and overall customer experience. Build and maintain relationships with corporate organizations, event planners, influencers, repeat customers, and other potential business partners to generate recurring bookings and referrals. Prepare event plans, schedules, checklists, budgets, and timelines to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, client information, payments, vendors, event schedules, and customer feedback. Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events, ensuring that expectations are met and issues are resolved promptly. Monitor event budgets, payments, vendor costs, and other expenses to ensure effective cost management and profitability. Develop attractive event packages and concepts that maximize the use and revenue potential of Casalavoro’s rooftop, cinema, pool, and other event spaces. Work with the marketing team to promote Casalavoro’s event spaces, packages, brunches, birthdays, and other experiences across digital and offline channels. Coordinate with clients to plan event details, including themes, guest numbers, décor, catering, entertainment, logistics, and budgets. Coordinate vendors, caterers, decorators, DJs, entertainers, photographers, security, technical teams, and other service providers. Requirements: Strong understanding of event sales, client relationship management, and business development. Proven experience: in planning and executing events from start to finish. Creative mindset with the ability to develop attractive event concepts and experiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant event management or CRM tools is an added advantage. Ability to manage multiple events, clients, and priorities simultaneously. Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required by event schedules. Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills. Must be proactive, energetic, customer-focused, and results-oriented. Excellent organizational, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 4 years + experience: managing restaurants, lounges, rooftops, cinemas, pools, hospitality venues, or other lifestyle/event spaces. Demonstrated ability to source and convert clients into event bookings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and vendors.
