We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chinese Translator / Warehouse Supervisor Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will serve as the communication bridge between our Chinese management team and Nigerian employees while also overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, proper storage, and timely distribution of materials. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Translate spoken and written communication between Chinese and English during meetings, production activities, and official correspondence. Facilitate effective communication between Chinese expatriates and local staff. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation. Monitor stock levels and prepare inventory reports. Coordinate loading and offloading of materials. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Report inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with Procurement, Production, and Finance departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Requirements: Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Minimum of 2 years’ experience: in translation, warehouse management, or a related role. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures. Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin Chinese and English fluently. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Chinese Language, or a related discipline. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Added Advantage: Experience: working in a Chinese manufacturing company. Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems.
