Driver Job Type Full Time Qualification Secondary School (SSCE) Experience: 3 - 5 years Location Rivers City Port Harcourt Job Field Driving Job Summary The Company Driver is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for personnel, materials, documents, and equipment in support of the company'soperations. Key Responsibilities: Transportation and Operational Support: Safely transport company employees, clients, visitors, and other authorized personnel to designated locations. Support transportation requirements: for project sites, client locations, workshops, offices, airports, and other operational locations. Deliver and collect documents, materials, tools, spare parts, and other authorized items as required. Ensure timely pickup and delivery while maintaining flexibility to meet operational and project demands. Assist with logistics and other administrative duties assigned in support of company operations. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, presentable, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times. Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and promptly report maintenance requirements. Report faults, accidents, damages, unusual vehicle conditions, or mechanical issues immediately to the appropriate supervisor. Ensure all required vehicle documents, including insurance, registration, inspection certificates, and other statutory documents, are valid and available. HSE and Compliance: Comply strictly with all company HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe driving standards. Professional Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy when interacting with employees, clients, and visitors. Present a neat and professional appearance at all times. Protect company property and ensure vehicles are used strictly for authorized purposes. Be available for travel and work outside normal working hours when required by operational demands. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of SSCE / WAEC, NECO, or equivalent. Not more than 30 years Old A valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the class of vehicle to be driven. 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the oil and gas, construction, logistics, or industrial services sector. Good knowledge of road networks, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices. Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and identify common mechanical faults.
