We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Field Auditor Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Description The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement. We are looking for an objective and Field Auditor who is open to work anywhere in Nigeria to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Responsibilities: Providing solution to company's internal problems Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards Travel to different state for auditory reviews and assessment. Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum Maintain open communication with management and audit committee Keep a check on processes and regulations Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings. Ensuring staff compliance with company policies and regulations. Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process Requirements: and skills A strong aptitude for math. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail. Sound independent judgement Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills A keen interest in the financial system. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills. Proven working experience: as an Auditor in a Microfinance or Lending company Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
