We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Assistant Field Manager Locations: Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara Job type: Full-time Category: Operations Organization Overview NI-ABAE is an evidence-based organization that aims to provide incentives to increase childhood vaccination rates and save lives in the most cost-effective way. While caregivers and infants remain our top priority, our operations are guided by accountability, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Job Summary The program is operated in cooperation with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board in NW & NE. Assistant Field Managers are hired full-time and supervise Field Officers at clinics throughout our states of operations. We are seeking to identify Assistant Field Managers that will help to expand its team dedicated to preventing child mortality in the NW/NC Zone. This post is strictly for External candidates. The primary duty of the Assistant Field Manager is to assist Field Managers in providing cash transfer disbursements at public clinics with the goal of increasing immunization coverage and retention. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is primarily residing in /or who has a free place to stay and willing to relocate to one of the towns/LGAs of all states of operation. The Assistant Field Manager will support a New Incentives’ program that utilizes cash transfers to encourage mothers to complete the immunization schedule of their infants. Key duties for this position include: high-quality operations of the program at selected clinics and providing leadership for selected staff members that result in increased immunization coverage and retention while nurturing relationships with employees, clinic staff, and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience: in collecting, synthesizing, and drawing conclusions from (health) data is desirable. Passion to help others and reduce infant mortality. Preferably a candidate already based in Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi and or Zamfara State. Experience: with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation, particularly related to infant health and vaccinations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, internet browsers, smartphones, and new communications technology in general. Excellent responsiveness to email and phone requests. Motivation to work in a young organization that is constantly changing based on stakeholder feedback and operates with a lean structure. Detail-oriented and diligent professional who is hard-working, result-oriented, and loyal. Careful attention to financial matters and management of funds. Minimum of ND, preferably in the field of health or other natural sciences. Willingness to work at remote public clinics and field locations at least 4 days per week. Ability to demonstrate good managerial and leadership skills. Very good verbal and written communication skills, in English, Hausa dialects (verbal and written) Language requirements: Knowledge of Hausa, Nupe, and/or other commonly spoken Languages in the Niger State is required.
