Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Farm Manager to oversee agricultural operations, ensure productivity, and manage farm resources efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and livestock health Develop and implement farming schedules and production plans Maintain accurate records of production, expenses, and inventory Prepare reports and provide updates to management. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Plan, organize, and supervise daily farm operations (crop and/or livestock production) Manage farm workers and allocate tasks effectively Implement pest, disease, and weed control measures Oversee procurement and usage of seeds, fertilizers, feeds, and other inputs Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and machinery Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./HND) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or related fields Good communication and organizational abilities. Good understanding of modern farming techniques and equipment Ability to manage farm operations and workforce effectively Minimum of 7 years’ experience: in farm management or agricultural operations Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management Preferred Qualifications: Certification in agriculture or farm management is an added advantage. Familiarity with agricultural regulations and best practices Experience: managing commercial or large-scale farms is very essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanized farming Additional Requirements: Physical stamina and willingness to work extended hours when required Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
