We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Hostel Mistress Location: Life Camp, Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Experienced, honest and God fearing hostel parent who can handle the following responsibilities: Student Welfare and Discipline: Maintain a positive and caring environment for all hostel residents. Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure student discipline and safety. Act as a mentor and counselor for students, providing guidance on personal, social, and academic concerns. Health and Safety: Monitor students' health and liaise with medical personnel if required. Conduct regular safety checks within the hostel premises. Administrative Duties: Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and outings. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, room allocations, and inventories. Facility Management: Ensure the hostel premises are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained. Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up to ensure repairs are completed. Parental Communication: Communicate with parents regarding students' welfare, and conduct in line with the policies of the school. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience: working with young people in a residential setting preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations effectively.
