Our Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) division manages a growing portfolio of residential estates, institutional buildings, industrial parks, and road infrastructure projects across multiple states. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Assistant Technical Director Location: Abuja (FCT) Key Responsibilities: Liaise with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders on technical and execution matters as directed. Coordinate technical interfaces between different disciplines, including Civil, Structural, MEP, Architectural and other specialist works. Support the Technical Director in the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, workmanship, materials, resources and progress. Review drawings, specifications, method statements, work programmes and other technical submissions. Identify technical issues, construction delays and execution challenges and recommend practical solutions. Support the Technical Director in resolving technical and construction-related issues across projects. Perform any other technical and construction-related duties assigned by the Technical Director or Management. Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, contractors and site teams to ensure effective project delivery. Monitor project execution against approved work programmes, milestones and completion dates. Monitor project milestones and ensure that critical activities are completed within the agreed timelines. Support the Technical Director in evaluating contractors' technical performance and project delivery. Review project progress reports and provide technical updates to the Technical Director. Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications and applicable standards. Support the preparation and implementation of recovery plans for projects falling behind schedule. Monitor the availability and proper utilisation of materials, labour, equipment and other construction resources. Assist in project handover, snagging, testing, commissioning and close-out activities. Ensure proper documentation of technical decisions, site instructions, variations and project changes.
