Job Title: Multimedia Designer / Content Creation Specialist Location: Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Multimedia Designer / Creative Content Specialist to develop compelling visual and multimedia content that strengthens the organisation’s brand, communicates key messages effectively, and engages target audiences across digital and offline platforms. The successful candidate will combine strong graphic design skills with photography, videography, video editing, animation, and content creation abilities. The role requires someone who can transform ideas and briefs into high-quality, engaging creative assets while maintaining brand consistency. Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design: Create high-quality graphics for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, presentations, reports, and other communication materials. Design flyers, posters, banners, brochures, infographics, social media creatives, and promotional materials. Develop creative concepts and visual directions based on campaign objectives and brand guidelines. Ensure consistency in typography, colour, imagery, layouts, and overall brand identity. Video & Multimedia Production: Plan, shoot, edit, and produce engaging videos for social media, websites, campaigns, events, and internal communications. Create short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Edit interviews, promotional videos, documentaries, event coverage, educational content, and other multimedia materials. Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and other elements where appropriate. Support livestreams, virtual events, webinars, and other multimedia productions when required. Photography & Content Creation: Capture high-quality photographs and video footage during events, campaigns, product activities, and organisational activities. Develop creative concepts for photoshoots and multimedia campaigns. Produce visually engaging content that aligns with the organisation’s communication and marketing objectives. Maintain and organise digital photo, video, and creative asset libraries. Social Media & Digital Content: Create visual content that supports social media calendars and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop content ideas and campaigns. Adapt creative assets into appropriate formats and dimensions for different digital platforms. Stay updated on emerging social media trends, creative formats, design styles, and content trends. Brand Management: Ensure all creative materials adhere to approved brand guidelines. Maintain consistency across all visual communication channels. Contribute ideas to improve the organisation’s visual identity and creative communication. Develop and maintain reusable templates and creative assets. Collaboration & Creative Support: Work closely with the marketing, communications, HR, partnerships, and other teams to understand their creative needs. Translate briefs, concepts, and ideas into effective visual and multimedia content. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative creative ideas. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience: in graphic design, multimedia production, content creation, or a similar role. Demonstrable portfolio showcasing graphic design, video editing, photography, animation, and/or digital content work. Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
