We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-time Purpose We are looking for a skilled electrical technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The Job Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for maintenance activities. Participating in Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and other maintenance programs. Fabricating and modifying electrical components using appropriate hand tools and technical specifications. Conducting routine inspections of plant electrical panels and equipment using approved checklists. Monitoring and recording energy consumption and other operational data to support plant performance improvement. Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and control systems. Calibrating weighing scales and other electrical measuring devices to ensure accuracy and compliance. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing faulty electrical and electronic equipment to minimize downtime. Maintaining accurate maintenance records, shift reports, and other required technical documentation. Qualification and Experience: OND, NABTEB, Trade Test, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Must have 2–3 years' relevant experience: in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The Person Must: Be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Have experience: with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
