We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Software Engineer - PHP Job Location : Lagos Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience: as a PHP Software Engineer. Experience: developing enterprise applications. Experience: within the power/energy sector is an added advantage. Knowledge of Java is an added advantage. Required Skills & Technical Competencies: Strong proficiency in PHP 7+ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Hands-on experience: with Yii1, Yii2, and Laravel. Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design. Experience: working in Linux environments. Experience: with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Solid understanding of SQL optimization and database performance. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript ( experience: with Vue.js, React, or Angular is an advantage). Experience: using Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket). Experience: building and integrating RESTful APIs (SOAP knowledge is an added advantage). Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimization. Experience: building workflow management applications and enterprise software platforms. Familiarity with SaaS application deployment. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage. Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Experience: working in Agile development environments is an advantage.
