We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Reliability Engineer – Instrumentation & Analyzer Location: Warri, Delta Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and recurrence. Initiate Management of Change (MOC) processes and perform quality instrument and analyzer MOC functional reviews. • Lead obsolescence management and lifecycle planning, including instrument upgrade projects for critical and aging assets. Work closely with operations, maintenance and process engineering team to ensure instruments and analyzers support safe and efficient plant operations. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and engineering standards and codes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support turnaround and pit-stop maintenance activities. Analyze failure modes of instruments and analyzers (sensors, transmitters, gas chromatographs, pH analyzers, etc.) and develop maintenance asset strategies (preventive, predictive, condition-based, etc.) to reduce equipment downtime. Provide technical input during design, installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems, ensuring new systems are designed for reliability. Review instrumentation spares and optimize spart parts inventory based on reliability data. Proactively monitor and track the health and performance of instruments and analyzers and implement programs to reduce failures and improve uptime. Minimum Qualifications B.Sc. or its equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or any other relevant engineering discipline. At least 7 years’ experience: in Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) or similar complex process facilities. Extensive experience: in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and reliability engineering in Oil & Gas facilities. Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience: in instrumentation. Required Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of health safety and environment (HSE) programs. • Familiarity with instrument accessories and devices such as relays, regulators, sensors, valves, solenoids, positioners, etc. Understanding of applicable engineering codes (IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA, API). Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, loop diagrams, and hazardous area classifications. Experience: with real-time monitoring tools (Emerson ValveLink, Yokogawa PRM, DCS, PLC, SIS). Competence in using instrument tools and Microsoft Office applications. Expertise in field instrumentation (Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature), and analyzer installations. Competency: Experience: in EGTL Pitstops/Turnaround Maintenance. Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to build relationships and foster teamwork. Minimum of 10 years’ working experience: in Oil & Gas facility. Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Commitment to safety and compliance.
