Read more about this company Facility Officer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 - 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Administration / Facilities Halifield Schools is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the school’s facilities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and repair of school buildings, equipment, and facilities. Coordinate and supervise artisans, contractors, and service providers. Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Monitor utility usage and facility-related expenses. Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset inventory. Ensure the school environment is clean, safe, and conducive for learning. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in facility management. Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems and preventive maintenance. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a school environment is an added advantage.
