The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience: operating heavy-duty trucks such as Howo trucks, Foton, Tipper, Man diesel, Concrete transit mixer truck in construction companies and must be knowledgeable about lagos routes specifically Ikoyi, Banana, V.I, road safety, vehicle maintenance and safe transportation of goods and materials. We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible Heavy-Duty Truck Driver to join our company. Key Responsibilities: Transport loads safely to designated locations while adhering to assigned schedules. Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance. Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for the transportation of goods, materials, and equipment. Monitor the truck for mechanical issues and report faults promptly. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, customers, and other road users. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition. Requirements: Excellent driving skills with a strong commitment to road and passenger safety. 7-10 years of proven experience: driving heavy-duty trucks. Strong knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended trips when required. Valid and appropriate Driver’s License for heavy-duty/commercial vehicle operation. Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and safety conscious.
