Solar Depot is looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organised Content Creator & Social Media Manager to take ownership of our content process from idea to execution. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just wait for content briefs. You should be able to look at our products, installations, customers, team, industry trends, and everyday activities and turn them into engaging content ideas that build the Solar Depot brand, educate our audience, and generate interest in our products and services. What You’ll Be Responsible For You will manage the complete content creation process, including: Creating monthly and weekly content plans Maintaining a consistent Solar Depot brand voice and visual identity Directing team members or other individuals featured in content when necessary Posting and scheduling content across our social media platforms Planning and coordinating content shoots Writing scripts, hooks, captions, and content outlines Developing creative content ideas and concepts for Solar Depot Researching relevant social media trends and identifying ways Solar Depot can participate in them Filming high-quality short-form videos, product videos, installation content, behind-the-scenes content, educational videos, and other brand content Monitoring content performance and identifying what is working using insights and analytics. Editing Reels, TikToks, short-form videos, photos, and other social media content Requirements: The ideal candidate should: Have strong video editing skills Know how to create strong hooks and engaging social media videos Have a good understanding of social media trends and internet culture Have strong content ideation and storytelling skills Understand Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and short-form content Experience: managing a brand’s social media accounts Experience: interpreting social media analytics and performance data Be proactive and able to generate ideas independently Have a good eye for composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience: with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms Be comfortable appearing on camera Be comfortable filming with a smartphone and/or professional camera equipment Understand that good content should not only look attractive but should also educate, engage, build trust, and ultimately support business growth.
