We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Storekeeper Location: Lagos Job Type: Full-time Department: Store/Inventory Operations Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock-taking and inventory checks. Organize and arrange stock properly in the store for easy identification and access. Maintain proper documentation of all stock movements. Monitor stock levels and notify management when items are running low. Monitor expiry dates and ensure the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is properly followed. Report damaged, expired, missing, or low-stock items to the appropriate supervisor. Carry out other duties assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Operations Manager. Keep the store clean, organised, and hygienic at all times. Issue ingredients and supplies to the kitchen based on approved requests. Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, and remaining. Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies to prevent spoilage, damage, or contamination. Receive, inspect, and record all incoming food items, ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies. Assist with receiving and verifying supplies against invoices or delivery notes. Help prevent wastage, loss, and unauthorized removal of company stock. Requirements: Previous experience: as a Storekeeper, Inventory Assistant, or in a similar role is an advantage. Ability to follow instructions effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude. Ability to count accurately and maintain proper stock records. Good record-keeping and organisational skills. Good attention to detail. Honest, reliable, responsible, and hardworking. Good personal hygiene and awareness of food storage and safety standards.
