Job Position: HR Officer, Rewards and Administration Job Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented HR Officer, Rewards and Administration with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities: The HR Officer, Rewards and Administration, ensures that every employee has accurate, complete, confidential, and easily retrievable HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, while providing reliable administrative and rewards support that enables the HR function to deliver efficient and employee-focused services. He / She will also support the effective administration of employee rewards and benefits, HR processes, reporting, and other people-related activities while ensuring compliance with established HR policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files and electronic HR records. Maintain an organised and confidential employee records management system. Manage documentation relating to employee movements, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, changes in employment status, and exits. Maintain appropriate documentation for internal and external HR audits. Support day-to-day HR administrative activities and ensure efficient delivery of HR services. Prepare HR letters, memos, reports, schedules, forms, and other administrative documents. Ensure that employee onboarding documentation is completed and properly filed before and after resumption. Provide necessary information for internal and external audits as required. Maintain appropriate trackers for HR administrative activities and follow up on outstanding documentation. Support the preparation and processing of documentation for salary reviews, promotions, adjustments, and other reward changes. Support the administration of employee benefits: such as pension, insurance, and other approved employee schemes. Communicate professionally with employees to address inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ensure that all reward and benefits: changes are appropriately documented and authorised. Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of employee information and HR data. Ensure exit documentation, clearance forms, handover documents, and other separation records are properly completed and archived. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field required with 1 – 3 years of broad HR experience, and at least 1 year experience: in administration and records management. Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, multiple priorities, and demanding customers, in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment. Experience: managing confidential employee records and HR documentation. Competency in the use of Microsoft office suite. Key Performance Indicators Maintain 90% of complete employee files with all mandatory documentation available and up to date. Ensure 95% of HR documents are issued without errors or rework. Ensure 95% of employee records on the employee database are accurate and complete. Maintain timely and accurate processing of employee benefits: and reward-related documentation in line with agreed timelines.
