We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: QA/QC Executive Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Job Summary The successful candidate will ensure that raw materials, production processes, finished products, and operational practices consistently meet approved quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC professional to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across the organization’s FMCG operations Key Responsibilities: Track quality KPIs and prepare regular reports for management. Identify, investigate, and document product and process non-conformities. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing results, deviations, and corrective actions. Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished products. Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, R&D, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues. Conduct regular quality inspections, sampling, testing, and analysis in line with established procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, waste, customer complaints, and quality-related costs. Monitor supplier quality and participate in supplier evaluation and approval processes. Develop and review SOPs, quality manuals, inspection checklists, and other quality documentation. Train employees on quality standards, GMP, hygiene, food safety, and quality procedures. Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and specifications. Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, health, safety, and regulatory standards. Coordinate internal quality audits and support external and regulatory audits. Develop, implement, and maintain effective Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and procedures. Requirements: & Qualifications Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience: in quality inspections, product testing, audits, CAPA, and root-cause analysis. Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 5–7 years of relevant QA/QC experience: within the FMCG, food, beverage, or manufacturing industry. Familiarity with relevant Nigerian regulatory and industry standards. Professional certification in quality, food safety, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
