We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chief Economist Location : Lagos Employment Type: Full Time Summary Coronation Merchant Bank is seeking an accomplished Chief Economist to lead our economic research and market intelligence function, providing strategic insight that informs the Bank's investment, lending, and advisory decisions. What you'll own Supporting Treasury, Investment Banking, and other business teams with economic insight for decision-making Macroeconomic research, forecasting, and analysis (Nigerian and global markets) Advising Executive Management and the Board on macroeconomic trends and their business implications Monitoring fiscal and monetary policy developments and assessing impact on the Bank's strategy Representing the Bank at industry forums, media engagements, and investor briefings Building and leading the research team. Producing economic reports, market commentary, and thought leadership publications What we're looking for Deep knowledge of the Nigerian economy, fiscal/monetary policy, and financial markets Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.
