SBC has recently entered into Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Project Manager (Engineer) Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview The project engineer is responsible for the coordination with the various plants and departments to during the implementation of the project and conducts periodical review of the project status. Responsibilities: Follow with Plant Team for any stoppage &any other project requirement. Ensuring Safety first and following all the safety norms Preparation of Gantt Chart in liasoning with all the selected vendors Timely follow-up payments for vendors. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. Understanding BOQs of Civil, Mechanical, Piping &Electrical Following with Plant to fulfil any legal requirement. Timely follow-up of procurement requirements. Monitoring the risks continuously &planning mitigation plan in coordination with Project Head. Ensuring no cost overshooting &if there is any risk, escalating to Project Head Immediately. Daily update &Weekly reports to Project Head. Ensuring no deviation in the contracts signed by the vendors. Understanding the technical requirements: of each equipment including P& IDs Ensuring proper logistics for the site team in coordination with plant HR. Qualifications At least 4 years’ experience: in a beverage bottling company. Experienced in budgeting and people management A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical Engineering. Project Management certification will be an added advantage. Must know AutoCAD &MS Office. Should be able to do scheduling in MS Projects. Experience: in plant manufacturing operations, project planning &implementation. Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment Must Possess PMP CERTIFICATION or similar Must have 5 – 7 years relevant hands-on experience: in technical project engineering.
