We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Application Engineer Location : Port Harcourt, Rivers Responsibilities: Operations: Provide pre-job technical reviews and post-job reports to customers. Collaborate with Operations Supervisors to ensure jobs are executable and resourced effectively. Support field execution through troubleshooting and technical assistance when required. Complete internal PEER review, briefs and de-briefs as per service design standards. Lead design and simulation of assigned jobs. Supervisors and Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises. Quality: Embed lessons learned and service quality improvements into future work. Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement. Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System. Own the accuracy and quality of designs, models, and technical deliverables for assigned scopes. Communication: Act as the primary technical and commercial focal point for assigned customer accounts. Supervisors and Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities: to their reports. Maintain effective communication with BD, Ops, Workshop, and Supply Chain to deliver seamless service. Present designs, forecasts, and lessons learned directly to customers. Maintains effective communication with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate, external. Financial: Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure. Ensuring full compliance with contract terms and invoicing requirements. Ensure accurate forecasting of revenue, costs, and utilization for assigned customer accounts. Upselling additional services or technologies. Identifying opportunities for bundling, optimization, and contract harvesting. Maximize commercial return on assigned customer accounts through: Collaborate with the Technical Business Development Lead to escalate and pursue growth opportunities. Take accountability for the financial performance of assigned scopes, tracking variances against forecast. Qualifications & Experience: Required 3+ years of experience: working in deep water locations. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent). Strong commercial acumen with experience: in revenue/cost forecasting. Commercial awareness and accountability for financial outcomes. Strong project management skills. Strong technical design and simulation capability. Proven customer-facing experience: with direct accountability for scopes. Customer relationship management skills with ability to influence and upsell. Proficiency with design and modelling tools (Victus, Drillbench). Effective communicator, capable of presenting confidently to customers. Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously. 5+ years of experience: in managed pressure drilling product operations. Qualifications & Experience: Preferred: Experience: in upselling or developing incremental revenue opportunities within customer accounts. Experience: in account management or technical sales support. Exposure to subsea, HPHT, or complex well environments, including Hydrogen and CCUS. Ability to link technical solutions to customer value and contract profitability. Familiarity with JDE, Windchill, and SalesForce.
