For 40 years, the humanitarian and development organization has been on the front lines, treating and preventing hunger across nearly 50 countries. It served more than 21 million people in 2018 alone. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Officer Location : Sokoto Reporting to: Logistics and Supply Chain Manager Proposed start date: September 2026 Key Responsibilities: Mission 1: Process supplies: Prepare the necessary documents related to the order: Supplier Purchase Order, Delivery Note, etc; Handle orders in accordance with ACF procedures; Ensure procurement is processed according to the project's PPP; Check the accuracy of the information on all documentation; Compile documentation to establish and obtain a complete procurement file; Handle supplies in accordance with the appropriate procedure; Ensure that all required validations are completed prior to procurement Mission 2: Manage the relationship with suppliers: Handle requests for quotations; Maintain and develop a supplier database into LINK. Participate in investigations in the event of a fraud alert or non-compliance with ACF policies by a supplier and propose corrective measures. Compare market prices; Ensure that ACF policies (Gender and Safeguarding, etc.) are well understood by suppliers; Develop good relationships with suppliers; Conduct market reviews to find new suppliers; Negotiate prices with suppliers; Mission 3: Organise the shipment of goods in the field: Establish the various shipping documents; Inform the person in charge of equipment, for each procurement of this type, in order to register it in the equipment list. Supervise the preparation and loading of goods and materials; File signed documents after receipt by the recipients; Ensure that goods are received at their destination; Mission 4: Manage the information flow: Ensure that all elements of procurement files are complete in LINK; Ensure that all procurement related documentation is carefully archived (Procurement Files, SRO, DN) electronically and physically in the archive room. Inform logistics and programmes of their supply progress; Keep LINK up to date with all relevant suppliers and market information; Mission 5: Tracking payments with the finance department: Coordinate with the finance department to ensure proper follow-up of supplier payment. Ensure that invoices contain the required information in accordance with ACF procedures; Update procurement files with corresponding invoices; Pay the advance of cash according to the procedures of the finance department; Mission 6: Reporting: Complete and maintain the Contract Monitoring; Provide cash flow forecasts twice a month. Position Requirements: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. At least 3 years of relevant work experience: in supply chain / procurement. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Experience: supervising staff is an advantage Familiarity with the LINK procurement tool Ability to work effectively in a demanding and complex / insecure environment. Good knowledge of procurement, supply, and supply chain management. Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, or a related field.
