The role requires excellent driving skills, discretion, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety, confidentiality, and customer service. The Corporate Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to company executives, senior management, and authorized personnel. Key Responsibilities: Executive Transportation: Monitor traffic, road, and weather conditions to optimize travel schedules. Maintain flexibility to accommodate changes in schedules and last-minute travel requests. Assist passengers with luggage, documents, or other items when required. Plan efficient travel routes to avoid traffic delays and ensure timely arrival. Safely transport executives, VIP guests, and authorized personnel to meetings, appointments, airports, and other destinations. Provide a professional and courteous service at all times. Vehicle Management: Maintain valid insurance, registration, licensing, and roadworthiness documentation. Schedule routine servicing, maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or vehicle damage. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, coolant, tire pressure, battery condition, and other essential vehicle systems. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Practice defensive driving techniques to minimize risks. Respond appropriately during emergencies or vehicle breakdowns. Ensure passengers wear seat belts and observe all safety protocols. Maintain an accident-free driving record where possible. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks detailing mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and trips. Support administrative errands including banking, document delivery, and procurement when assigned. Keep records of vehicle servicing and repairs. Submit fuel receipts, expense reports, and other documentation as required. Confidentiality & Professionalism: Present a neat and professional appearance at all times. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive discussions, business activities, and sensitive information. Remain available outside regular business hours when business needs require. Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and integrity while interacting with executives, clients, and visitors. Qualifications Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Defensive Driving Certification is an advantage. Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and interstate routes (or applicable location). Minimum of 5 years' experience: as an Executive Driver, Corporate Driver, or Personal Driver for senior executives. Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; OND or HND is an added advantage.
