We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Control Officer Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Furniture Manufacturing & Interior Design Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production and project activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and client specifications, identifying and reporting production errors, and supporting continuous improvement to achieve premium customer satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Officer to join our Operations team. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor production and project activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Conduct internal and support external audits to ensure quality control requirements: are implemented and maintained. Develop procedures for inspecting production equipment and monitoring their condition. Review and recommend the acceptance of contractors’ quality programmes, plans and checklists. Liaise with Sales, Projects and Operations teams to ensure products meet specifications and delivery requirements. Conduct regular site visits to monitor materials, workmanship and regulatory compliance. Implement Quality Control Plans to ensure products and processes meet applicable quality standards. Review project and production quality control practices and identify areas requiring improvement. Conduct and supervise inspections, and review reports and documentation from external inspectors. Carry out other duties that may be assigned by Management. Prepare quality-related reports and provide relevant updates to Management. Support the Projects team in addressing client quality-related matters. Work closely with the Operations team to promote efficient workflows and quality output. Investigate customer complaints relating to product quality and recommend appropriate solutions. Follow up on corrective actions to verify compliance and continuous improvement. Identify, document and report production errors and quality issues for prompt corrective action. Support the company’s commitment to safety and adherence to its core values. Requirements: Minimum of 4 years relevant experience: in Quality Control/Quality Assurance. Experience: in quality management systems, preferably within furniture manufacturing, interior design, construction, manufacturing or a related industry. B.Sc. / HND in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, Production Management or a related discipline.
