The ideal candidate will have strong experience: engaging industry stakeholders, preparing winning proposals, and expanding the company's market presence. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the upstream oil and gas industry. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while achieving assigned revenue and growth targets. Client & Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Understand client requirements, identify cross-selling opportunities, and coordinate internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. Tender & Proposal Management: Maintain accurate tender documentation and track bid outcomes to improve future submissions. Monitor RFQs, RFIs, ITTs, and RFPs, and coordinate the preparation and timely submission of compliant technical and commercial proposals. Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify new business opportunities. Provide regular market intelligence to support strategic business decisions. Commercial & Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Technical, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure successful project acquisition and execution. Prepare quotations, capability statements, presentations, and commercial documentation. Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare business development reports and sales forecasts, and ensure compliance with company policies, client procurement procedures, and Nigerian Content Development regulations. Requirements: Minimum of 3 – 5 years' experience: in Business Development or Sales within the upstream oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of tendering processes, proposal preparation, and commercial negotiations. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience: working with International Oil Companies (IOCs), indigenous operators, or oilfield service companies is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems. Professional membership in relevant bodies is an added advantage. Ability to represent the organization professionally with clients, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
