This role is pivotal in supporting project finance, capital raising, commercial structuring, and investment decision-making across a diverse set of gas infrastructure and LNG marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of industry experience, with a strong track record in project finance, financial and economic modelling, commercial advisory, and fund sourcing, particularly in the Nigerian gas and LNG sectors. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop robust financial models and investment appraisals for gas infrastructure and LNG projects. Conduct ROI assessments, scenario planning, and capital budgeting for new and existing initiatives. Project Finance & Fund Sourcing: Lead efforts to raise capital from banks, DFIs, private equity, and strategic investors. Prepare investor-grade documentation and support due diligence processes. Gas Commercialisation & Advisory: Advise on pricing models, offtake agreements, and contract structuring for domestic and export LNG sales. Support negotiation of sales agreements with industrial, commercial, and international buyers. Forecasting & Long-Term Projections: Build dynamic financial models and performance forecasts for LNG production, pricing, and sales. Prepare board-level reports and strategic insights on gas marketing initiatives. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all financial and commercial strategies align with Nigeria's regulatory framework (NMDPRA, FIRS, GACN, etc.). Interpret fiscal policies and ensure compliance in investment planning and reporting. Risk Assessment & Due Diligence: Identify and evaluate financial risks, including pricing volatility and market exposure. Participate in due diligence for M&A, JV, or greenfield opportunities. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key financial and operational KPIs across LNG and gas projects.
