The National Partner of Noble Corp in Nigeria is Pacific International Drilling West Africa Limited (PIDWAL). We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chief Mate Location: Nigeria Requirements: Minimum of 8+ years USCG Unlimited Tonnage Chief 11 Mate upon Oceans or equivalent and Flag State endorsement. Experience: as Navigational Watch Officer on vessels over 3000 GRT. Prefer experience: as a DPO. (At minimum DP training to IMCA phase 3). Maritime Deck Transportation degree from Maritime College or equivalent Command experience: as a vessel chief mate, possess a valid SSO Certificate from a recognized school, Other Requirements: Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written. Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Examinations Council (WAEC), or GCE O'Level. Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria. OND (Ordinary National Diploma) is equivalent to a 2-year Associate Degree in the United States, while HND or B.Sc. is equivalent to a 4-year Degree (at least 120 credits / units).
