The mandate covers the full rhythm of the finance function: month-end close, bank and balance-sheet reconciliations, payables and receivables, payroll inputs, the fixed-asset register, and the monthly statutory cycle — PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF, VAT, withholding tax and excise. In a business preparing for audit scrutiny at institutional standard, the numbers must be right the first time, every time. You will need a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or a related field; ICAN or ACCA qualification (or in view); at least three years' accounting experience; and strong Excel skills. Working knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance and accounting ERP systems is essential; FMCG, manufacturing or high-transaction-volume experience: is a strong advantage.
