Our customers are making one of the biggest purchases of their lives, and they need someone who knows the product to guide them. We don't care about degrees or qualifications. We care about work ethic, integrity and a willingness to learn. We are hiring a Retail Associate for our Abuja store at Capital Hub, Mabushi. You will run the store day to day — serving customers, closing sales, managing stock and keeping the space in the condition our customers expect. Duties and Responsibilities: Cultivate excellent product knowledge Maintain cleanliness and good decorative order in the store Ensure supply of all office consumables Manage stock levels and ensure availability of inventory Ensure timely opening of the store Execute company promotions and offers Accept repairs and ensure they are dispatched and returned promptly Enforce company policies Ensure the POS is working Arrange store displays in an inviting fashion Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints Guide customers to make purchases and close transactions What We Expect We are direct about this so nobody is surprised after they start. Know the product. You are expected to answer technical questions about stones and metals accurately and confidently. Weekend and holiday availability. Saturdays are our busiest days. You may also be scheduled on Sundays and public holidays. Sell. This is a performance-based role. We expect you to be confident selling a high-value product to a well-educated, affluent customer base. Commit for at least a year. We invest heavily in training and want people who intend to stay. Complete training before you serve a customer. Training is rigorous. It is not a formality. Excellent personal grooming, every shift. This is non-negotiable in a luxury environment. Own the store. Cleanliness, displays, stock accuracy, POS, consumables and repairs are yours to manage. Turn up on time, every time. You are responsible for the store opening on schedule. Requirements: Available Monday to Saturday on a rotating 18-shift roster, including Saturdays. Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and software. Excellent spoken and written English. You will be administered a diction test. Due to the nature of our product and client base, female candidates are preferred. You must live along the northern corridor into Mabushi. Our store is at Capital Hub, Mabushi, near Next Cash and Carry. Areas that work well include Gwarinpa, Life Camp, Kado, Karmo, Katampe, Mpape, Berger, Jabi, Utako, Wuse and Kubwa. If you live in Nyanya, Karu, Mararaba, Lugbe or Kuje, the cross-city journey is likely to make this role unsustainable — we would rather be upfront about that now than have you leave after three months. Calm disposition and the ability to work under pressure. Helpful, not essential: Previous retail, customer service, hospitality or sales experience: Personable, good at solving problems, able to multi-task A major Nigerian language (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba) No jewelry experience: required.
