The role requires a strong blend of creative brand leadership, data-driven decision-making, and digital and media insight capability to drive brand growth, market share, and revenue performance in a highly competitive FMCG environment. Responsibilities: and What success looks like Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution: Responsibilities: Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all consumer touchpoints. Develop and execute annual brand and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead end-to-end 360° integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, social media, and trade channels. What success looks like: Campaign performance is reviewed against brand and commercial objectives, and learnings are fed into future campaigns. 360° campaigns are delivered end-to-end across ATL, BTL, digital, social, and trade with clear timelines, owners, and post-campaign reviews. Brand messaging and visual identity are consistently applied across all consumer touchpoints, with deviations identified and corrected quickly. Annual brand and marketing strategy is documented, approved, and actively used to guide campaign planning and business decisions. Digital & Media Strategy: Responsibilities: Develop and implement data-driven digital marketing strategies across social media, performance marketing, and online platforms. Work closely with media agencies to ensure efficient media buying, targeting, and ROI optimization. Track digital KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversion, and brand sentiment. Analyse media performance (TV, radio, OOH, digital) to optimize spend and campaign effectiveness. What success looks like: Digital strategy covers social, performance, and online platforms with clear channel roles, content pillars, and audience targeting. Media performance across TV, radio, OOH, and digital is analysed regularly; spend is shifted toward best-performing channels and formats. Media agency work is managed through clear briefs, scorecards, and review meetings; buying, targeting, and ROI improve over time. Digital KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversion, and brand sentiment are tracked in dashboards, reviewed, and acted upon. Market Intelligence & Consumer Insights: Responsibilities: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour using research tools and retail audit data. Translate insights into product innovation, packaging improvements, and targeted promotional activities. What success looks like: Retail audit and research data are used to identify gaps and opportunities; recommendations are implemented and reviewed. Insights directly inform product innovation, packaging improvements, and promotional activities, with decisions documented. Market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour are monitored continuously and shared in actionable insight briefs. Marketing decisions are clearly linked to consumer, category, and competitor evidence rather than assumptions. Financial & Budget Management: Responsibilities: Monitor product performance (volume, value, margin). Manage and optimize the annual marketing (A&P) budget. Ensure strong ROI through continuous evaluation of campaign and media spend. What success looks like: Annual A&P budget is planned, allocated by brand, channel, and campaign, and managed within approved limits. Budget reallocations are justified with clear rationale and tracked for impact. Product performance (volume, value, margin) is monitored; marketing actions are adjusted to protect or improve brand profitability. Campaign and media spend are continuously evaluated for ROI; underperforming activities are paused, corrected, or stopped. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management: Responsibilities: Manage external creative, PR, and media agencies for campaign delivery. Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing to ensure strong market execution and visibility. Work with Supply Chain and R&D teams for successful new product development (NPD) and launches. What success looks like: Supply Chain and R&D are engaged early in NPD and launch planning; launches are executed with clear milestones and no avoidable delays. External creative, PR, and media agencies are managed through clear briefs, timelines, deliverables, and performance reviews. Cross-functional stakeholders have clarity on marketing priorities, timelines, and decision rights. Sales and Trade Marketing collaborate on market execution and visibility plans; execution gaps are identified and resolved jointly. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Responsibilities: Track brand health metrics (awareness, trial, preference, loyalty). Prepare periodic performance reports covering marketing, digital, and media KPIs. What success looks like: Performance visibility is clear to stakeholders; brand growth targets are monitored, and corrective actions are taken when off track. Brand health metrics such as awareness, trial, preference, and loyalty are tracked, reported, and used to shape brand plans.
