We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage the accurate weighing, recording, and documentation of vehicles and materials entering and leaving our facility in Kaduna. The successful candidate will ensure that all weighing activities are conducted accurately and efficiently, while maintaining proper records and complying with established operational, safety, and control procedures. Key Responsibilities: Identify and promptly report equipment faults, system issues, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of operational and transaction records. Ensure that vehicles are correctly positioned on the weighbridge before weighing. Monitor and report discrepancies in vehicle weights, documentation, or materials. Perform other duties related to weighbridge and operational activities as assigned. Record vehicle weights, registration numbers, driver details, materials, and other relevant information. Maintain accurate electronic and manual records and prepare routine weighbridge reports. Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, security, production, and other relevant teams to facilitate smooth vehicle movement. Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements. Issue weighbridge tickets and maintain accurate daily transaction records. Verify delivery and dispatch documentation against weighbridge records. Operate and monitor the weighbridge system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles. Requirements: & Qualifications Strong numerical and record-keeping skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an added advantage. High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required. 1–3 years of experience: operating a weighbridge, preferably within manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, mining, or a related industry. Basic computer literacy and ability to work with spreadsheets and data-entry systems. Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple vehicle transactions. Good understanding of weighing systems, weighbridge operations, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
