Turbo Energy is seeking a commercially driven and highly resourceful Branch Manager, Sales & Projects – Ibadan to lead the establishment, growth and management of our Ibadan operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the Ibadan branch from the ground up, driving sales and business development, developing strategic relationships, building a strong customer pipeline and, as the operation grows, overseeing the successful execution and delivery of MAP and other energy-related projects within the region. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an individual who can combine business development, sales leadership, operational execution and project management. Key Responsibilities: Branch Establishment & Management: Develop and implement an effective branch operating plan aligned with Turbo Energy's commercial objectives. Lead the establishment and operationalisation of Turbo Energy's Ibadan branch. Build and maintain a high-performing local team as the business grows. Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and applicable regulatory requirements. Manage branch activities, resources and operating costs effectively. Coordinate branch setup, including office requirements, operational processes, resources and local support structures. Sales & Business Development: Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs and recommend appropriate commercial strategies. Develop relationships with corporate organisations, estates, property developers, commercial customers, government institutions, communities and other strategic stakeholders. Build a robust sales pipeline and consistently convert opportunities into revenue. Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business development updates. Identify and pursue new MAP, metering and other energy business opportunities within Ibadan and the wider Oyo region. Identify strategic partnerships and channels that can accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth. Lead negotiations with prospective customers and partners. Develop and execute the Ibadan branch's sales and business development strategy. Customer & Stakeholder Management: Understand customer requirements: and ensure appropriate solutions are proposed. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic stakeholders. Serve as a senior point of contact for major customers within the region. Drive customer satisfaction, retention, referrals and repeat business. Represent Turbo Energy at relevant business meetings, industry engagements and stakeholder forums. Project Management & Delivery: Develop project execution plans, timelines and resource requirements. Coordinate internal teams, contractors, technical personnel and other project stakeholders. Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with approved technical and operational standards. Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within agreed customer timelines. Coordinate the implementation of MAP, metering and related energy projects within the region. Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards and deliverables. Provide regular project status reports to management. Identify and resolve project bottlenecks and escalate critical issues promptly. As the Ibadan operation expands, take increasing responsibility for the overall project portfolio within the region. Team Leadership: Coach team members to improve sales effectiveness and customer management. Recruit, develop and manage sales, business development and project support personnel as required. Monitor team performance and ensure accountability for results. Set clear individual and team targets. Foster a performance-driven and collaborative branch culture. Financial & Performance Management: Take ownership of the branch's revenue and commercial performance. Develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets in line with company objectives. Prepare periodic management reports covering sales, pipeline, projects, revenue and branch performance. Monitor branch revenue, sales costs, project costs and profitability. Identify opportunities to improve branch profitability and operational efficiency. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The successful candidate will be assessed on, among others: Sales pipeline value and conversion rate. Number and value of strategic partnerships secured. Monthly and quarterly sales/revenue achievement. Project profitability and cost management. Team productivity and achievement of assigned targets. Project completion rate. Growth in MAP/metering customer base. Branch establishment and operational readiness within agreed timelines. Qualifications & Experience: 5–8 years' relevant professional experience, with significant experience: in sales, business development, operations or project management. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Project Management or a related discipline. Experience: in the energy, power, metering, utilities, infrastructure, telecoms, solar or related sectors will be an advantage. Demonstrable experience: in business development and achieving commercial targets. Experience: managing projects, field teams, contractors or technical operations. Strong understanding of the Ibadan/Oyo market and established local business relationships will be an advantage. Experience: setting up, launching or managing a branch, business unit or new market will be highly advantageous. Core Competencies: Project management and execution skills.
