We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Content Creator Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Mshel Homes Limited is seeking a creative, innovative, and results-driven Content Creator to develop engaging and high-quality content that promotes the Company's brand, properties, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and producing compelling visual and written content across the Company's digital platforms. This includes social media content, videos, photographs, property-related content, campaign materials, and other creative assets designed to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Production: Stay updated on current content trends, social media trends, and emerging digital formats. Create high-quality videos, reels, short-form content, photographs, and other visual materials. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and content strategies. Generate creative content ideas and concepts aligned with the Company's marketing objectives and target audience. Develop creative and engaging content for the Company's social media platforms, website, and other digital channels. Write engaging captions, scripts, content copies, and other relevant written materials. Develop property-focused content, including property tours, site updates, project progress, client testimonials, and promotional campaigns. Social Media & Brand Support: Work closely with the Social Media Manager, Digital Marketer, Graphic Designer, and other members of the Marketing/Creative team. Assist in developing content calendars and planning content around campaigns, property launches, events, and key business activities. Ensure all content aligns with Mshel Homes Limited's brand identity, tone, values, and approved guidelines. Support the execution of the Company's social media and digital marketing strategy. Monitor audience engagement and contribute ideas to improve content performance. Create content tailored to different platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. Photography & Videography: Edit photographs and visual content to ensure high-quality and professional output. Support video shoots, interviews, property tours, and promotional productions. Ensure all content is properly stored, organised, and readily accessible when required. Capture high-quality photographs and videos of properties, project sites, events, staff activities, and other Company activities. Conduct basic video editing, including trimming, transitions, subtitles, sound, and formatting for different digital platforms. Collaboration & Project Support: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and other relevant teams to understand content requirements: and campaign objectives. Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, influencers, and other creative vendors when required. Manage assigned content projects and ensure timely delivery of all deliverables. Receive and implement creative feedback from the Creative Lead/Creative Director and relevant Management. Attend property inspections, site visits, events, activations, and other activities for content coverage when required. Performance & Reporting: Identify successful content formats and recommend improvements based on audience response and performance. Monitor the performance of assigned content using engagement and reach metrics. Provide regular updates on completed content, ongoing projects, and upcoming deliverables. Maintain a record of content produced and support the preparation of content performance reports. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Quality and consistency of brand representation. Qualifications A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in photography, videography, social media content, or digital storytelling. 2–4 years of relevant experience: in content creation, social media, digital media, or a similar role. Bachelor's Degree/HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Communications, Film Production, Creative Arts, or a related field. Experience: in the real estate industry is an added advantage. Required Skills and Competencies: Strong creativity and storytelling skills. Excellent photography and videography skills. Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content trends. Good copywriting and caption-writing skills. Ability to create engaging short-form video content, including Reels and TikTok videos. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple assignments.
