We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Oil and Gas) Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with at least 12 years of experience: in designing electrical systems for offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities. The successful candidate will support electrical design, load verification, cable sizing, hazardous area compliance, electrical tie-ins, and safety studies while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Engineering: Provide technical support for electrical tie-ins and installations. Support FEED, Detailed Engineering, construction, and commissioning activities. Design and review electrical systems for offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities. Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and design documents. Verify electrical equipment load lists and perform cable sizing. Safety & Compliance: Apply Hazardous Area Classification requirements: and specify suitable electrical equipment for hazardous zones. Ensure compliance with company standards, IEC/IEEE codes, and regulatory requirements. Participate in SAFOP and other electrical safety studies. Project Support: Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and facility modifications. Review vendor documents and contractor deliverables. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum of 12 years' experience: in Electrical Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
