Lead the expansion of the digital commerce footprint from 2 to 10+ cities, managing launch activities, cross-functional integration, and stakeholder alignment. Build and develop a high-performing eCommerce team while ensuring commercial rigour, operational discipline, and brand consistency across all digital channels. Key Deliverables: Own performance of all Nigeria eCommerce sites end-to-end. Maintain high catalogue quality, search, merchandising, and campaign execution standards. Build brand-specific testing plans and conversion growth targets. Monitor KPIs regularly and act swiftly on opportunities and underperformance. Lead new country entry and launch activities end-to-end. Manage configuration, localisation, payment, logistics, and fulfilment for each new market. Identify and escalate blockers to relevant stakeholders. Track and report expansion milestones to Head of Digital Commerce. Serve as primary eCommerce contact for Operations, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Service. Integrate promotional calendars with eCommerce campaign execution. Work with Logistics and Customer Service to support fulfilment SLAs and customer experience. Ensure digital campaigns are translated accurately and effectively into eCommerce executions. Build credibility as trusted voice on Nigeria eCommerce performance. Produce regular performance reports with commentary and forward-looking recommendations. Navigate regional interdependencies and flag risks proactively. Represent eCommerce insights in cross-functional and senior leadership forums. Drive eCommerce revenue growth across all active Nigeria markets. Identify and capitalise on incremental revenue opportunities across brands and markets. Support pricing, promotions, and margin strategy in collaboration with the Commercial team. Contribute to annual planning and quarterly forecasting. Lead, coach, and develop direct reports within the eCommerce function. Conduct monthly/quarterly check-ins with all direct reports. Ensure all direct reports have valid, up-to-date KPAs and Scorecards. Support succession planning and talent development. Qualification and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, or related field. Advantageous: Postgraduate qualification in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or MBA. 5+ years in eCommerce management, ideally within retail or a multi-brand environment. Proven track record of managing and growing online revenue across multiple markets. Experience: with digital merchandising, SEO/SEM, conversion optimisation, and analytics platforms. Cross-functional stakeholder management experience: (Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Logistics). Demonstrated success in leading and coaching teams. Nigeria market expansion or multi-country eCommerce experience: advantageous.
