Read more about this company Finance Officer (NYSC) Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND , Professional Certificate Experience: 2 years Location Lagos Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit Salary Range ₦200,000 - ₦300,000/month JOB SUMMARY The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial transactions, records and reporting. The role will ensure accurate bookkeeping, proper cash management, timely reconciliation and effective financial controls across the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage daily financial transactions, receipts, payments and expense records. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation. Monitor cash flow, collections, payments and outstanding receivables. Perform regular bank, cash and account reconciliations. Prepare periodic financial and management reports for the General Manager. Monitor income and expenses against approved budgets and identify variances. Process invoices, payments, petty cash and other financial documentation. Ensure proper documentation and approval of all company expenses. Support payroll preparation and statutory remittances where required. Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances. Maintain proper financial records for audit and tax purposes. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards. Provide financial information and analysis to support management decision-making. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: First Degree in Accounting , Economics, Banking & Finance or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience: in a finance or accounting role. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN/ACCA will be an advantage. Experience: using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience: in a service, automotive, retail or similar business environment will be an advantage.
