The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples as required. Responsibilities: include preparing specimens, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, following established protocols, and documenting results accurately in laboratory records or electronic systems. The role involves supporting clinicians with timely and reliable test results, adhering to safety and infection control standards, participating in quality assurance activities, and assisting in inventory management of reagents and consumables. The technician will collaborate with other clinical staff, provide clear communication regarding test procedures and findings, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory services. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to perform and interpret routine diagnostic tests. Practical Laboratory Skills, including specimen collection and handling, reagent preparation, and accurate reporting of results. Experience: with Quality Control procedures, including calibration, validation, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of test outcomes.
